Outcomes for Labyrinthitis
Most patients will have complete resolution of symptoms of labyrinthitis within several weeks of onset. Hearing trouble, balance dysfunction, vertigo, and nausea/vomiting will resolve. A small percentage of patients will continue to have residual balance dysfunction that can be helped by vestibular physical therapy .
