Petroclival Meningioma
Petroclival meningioma is a tumor of the meninges, which is a system of membranes that cover the brain and the spinal cord.
Diagnosis for Petroclival Meningioma
Diagnosis is suspected by MRI scan of the brain, with a study tailored to look at the skull base. These tumors can be quite destructive to the clivus. Diagnosis is confirmed by biopsy and pathologic analysis.
